Focus Groups
A Focus Group is a small, carefully selected, relevant sample of
consumers and/or potential customers who provide feedback and
opinions on topics. The group is facilitated by an experienced
facilitator who records their opinions, feelings, observations,
preferences and experiences. Focus groups can be a
cost-effective way of generating ideas and innovative inputs,
and of gaining valuable feedback on tastings, samples,
packaging, instructions for use and more.
Focus Groups are particularly effective in Ireland, where there
is a strong oral tradition of talking, discussing and where word
of mouth is central to the general culture and to the way we
conduct business.
Online Focus Groups
To reduce travel costs, we also conduct online focus groups,
where respondents share images, data and their responses
on-line. Online groups are usually limited to 8-10 participants,
and involve real time interaction between respondents as well as
with the facilitator.
